In 2020, Essential Fitness was founded by Samantha Jones to provide guided, personalized workouts to clients without having them leave the house. No matter what a client’s physical limitations or scheduling conflicts were, Samantha wanted to ensure they were able to prioritize their wellness. By bringing the gym to clients’ homes, Samantha has given clients of all ages a way to incorporate physical health into their lifestyles through personalized fitness plans and encouragement.

About Samantha Jones

Trainer

Samantha Jones is a mobile personal trainer who brings the rigor of a gym to the comfort of her clients’ homes. After suffering a broken leg, two total ACL repairs, and various other surgeries in her youth, she learned firsthand of the need for consistent physical fitness and of the frustration that comes with being unsure of how or when to exercise.

Samantha pursued physical education in higher education, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Health and Human Performance, as well as becoming a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Her education and over ten years of experience has allowed her to give her clients professional workouts, and her positive attitude gives clients the support they need as they continue their physical fitness journeys.

Qualifications

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association
  • Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Health and Human Performance from the University of Montana
  • CPR and AED certified
